If a hero doesn't suit your preferences, you can easily turn off the development reminder by following these steps:

-Tap on the "Hero" icon at the bottom of the game screen.
-Select the hero you don't wish to develop at the moment.
-Tap the bell icon next to the hero's image to turn off the development reminder.
