The smelting process disposes of materials or parts that you do not need. Their quality is low to obtain in exchange for the smelting (Magnetic material), the currency used in the smelting store to get high-quality materials.
You can melt materials when you click on “Parts Workshop” then “Material Smelting” inside the storage box in the material smelting window, where you have to determine the quality you want, choose whether they are parts or equipment, then click on “automatically add" then “immediate smelting” using gold. You will get a coin (Magnetic material), which you can find in the middle of the smelting screen, to buy high-quality materials from inside the Smelter shop.
You can find the “Smelter Shop” on the top right of the storage box screen.
